Woven Dreams was an interdisciplinary project by interior design, architecture, and graphic design students. Our challenge: design a museum, restaurant, and retail space to expand Sporting Kansas City’s stadium while capturing the energy of the team and its fans.
Inspired by the iconic soccer scarves—symbols of pride, unity, and connection—the concept informed every detail. Flowing, thread-like architectural forms created movement between buildings, while interiors featured organic patterns and materials that emphasized continuity.
Graphic design echoed the woven theme through custom patterns, textures, and typography, with team colors tying the entire system together visually and emotionally.
The result was a cohesive, immersive brand environment—one that celebrated community and captured the dreamlike excitement of game day.

The Warehouse concept brings the spirit of Kansas City to life, incorporating key themes from the Woven Dreams project. Designed with an open-concept layout, the space features flowing, thread-inspired elements that create a seamless connection between fans and their favorite players. Custom jersey stations allow customers to personalize gear, further weaving them into the team experience—both literally and emotionally.
restaurant space
Paint the Wall Pub was inspired by the fans—and built for them. Named in tribute to the team’s victories, this pub celebrates the tradition of “painting the wall” after each win. It features classic pub fare, a self-pour beer bar, live music, and an inviting outdoor space for warmer months. Designed as a vibrant community hub, it’s open on game days to all who come to celebrate.

The SKC Museum celebrates the legacy and standout moments of Sporting Kansas City. Designed to immerse visitors in the team’s rich history, it features a digital-led timeline, iconic scarves from past seasons, and interactive exhibits that honor both the players and the passionate fan base. It’s a space to explore, remember, and relive the spirit of the club.
